Fun Facts

  • I was created, birthed, and raised with a twin brother, and definitely am sensitive to the balance/imbalance of the masculine and feminine in life because of this.

  • I have a son and daughter, furthering my awareness with the masculine and feminine dynamics, who are schooling from home right now.

  • I spend time in nature every day because being in the raw elements and connected to the winds, the birds’ songs, the waves, the trees… deeply nurtures me.

  • If I do not meditate every day, my tendency towards grumpiness and emotional outbursts increases tremendously : )

  • Easeful yoga is what I do, hopefully everyday, to keep my aches and pains away (it really works).

I live with the awareness that we are all connected, and we are all loved. Sometimes in life, we feel the loss of these connections, and it is my complete joy and passion to bring us into the truth of who we are and how we are each lovingly held.

I have always been deeply intuitive. Still, these gifts did not equate to happiness until I practiced the skills and tools of energy healing meditation. This simple practice is what brings me to my own love, freedom, strength, and joy.
This is what I want for women and humanity, for all of us to be deeply connected to our innate wisdom.

In this way, we can heal ourselves, our families, our communities, our global connections, and support our Earth. Living in a deeper balance with all parts of life, finding our greatest joys and loves is all accessible, and is so necessary right now.

When it comes to the role of women today, what inspires you?

Everyone can feel ‘the rise of the feminine’ right now, and it is incredibly inspiring. WomenH2H is a perfect example of women rising together.

We are shifting from a competitive standpoint (which seems like a more patriarchal trait) to a more inclusive and ‘honoring of ourselves and of each other viewpoint’.

This is how women are leading, and this is how we will heal and grow through all of our life’s aspects.

When we honor ourselves and each other, we learn to honor all of life.

This, I believe, is how we will save humanity’s ability to live on Earth.

What’s your goal around that, and why is it important to you? Why is that a priority for you right now?

My goal is to honor myself and all of life. Feeling how connected we are to each other, and to ‘Source’ or whatever you call the energy that animates each of us, is what brings me joy and into the feeling of love.

This state of connectedness is imperative for my quality of life, and is what I want to bring more of to this life.

When we are connected to our innate wisdom, we can access the best parts of ourselves for ourselves and for one another.

What are the biggest challenges you’ve personally had as a woman at work? How did you try to overcome them?

The biggest challenge I have had in the workplace was women grouping up and bashing other women. To be honest, this was not something I tried to change. Their behavior belonged to them and did not seem like something I could resolve.

What I changed for myself was to leave the workforce situation and create a career that is from my passion and joy. An older and wiser version of myself may have planted seeds of kindness and knowledge of how honoring one another would ultimately bring all of us more joy and productivity in our company. Possibly those seeds would have sprouted by now?

Many women are overwhelmed by the constant changes at work, frustrated with conflicts, or disheartened by office politics, drama, and draining emotions. What have you done in the past to help you get through such moments?

When life is overwhelming, I default to self-care.

Self-care for me looks like taking a long bath, being in nature, meditating, booking a massage, having as much alone time as I can to process my emotions, and always finding a way to truly love myself.

I do not have any control of other people, I can only change my reality by going inward and releasing from there. Possibly, after my time of introspection and self-care, an idea of resolution will come to share?

I have been in a deep spiritual study for half of my life, so I have many teachings in my thoughts and actions, but the wisdom I have been learning from for the past two years is my inner wisdom.

Taking time, going inside my heart and higher consciousness, where I feel connected to LOVE. This is where my greatest influence is right now.

Do you participate in other women groups or communities? What have you seen work in such communities, and what was missing for you?

I have a few groups I participate regularly in. Two are women’s groups and one is a women's and men’s group. I started the women’s and men’s group eight years ago.

This group began with the intention of balancing the masculine and feminine energies inside of us so we bring more balance to the world.

This was a big intention, and many ‘shadow’ or uncomfortable situations were brought to the surface through the years. We have worked through so much together and supported one another through major life transitions. Our group dynamic has changed over the years, some from the dramas that came up, and some just from life circumstances. It is a joy and comfort being in this group of men and women, of all ages, as equals. Being seen and treated as equals is the best foundation and practice for all groups.

Why is it important for women to be surrounded by other women, and what is the role we play in each other’s lives?

Women are meant to be together, it is actually necessary for us to have a community to call upon. We are strong at ‘holding space’ for our families and communities individually, but so much stronger together.

Women need each other to reflect each other’s strengths and areas of necessary growth.
Communities of women help expand our consciousness and help us birth new paradigms. When women come together, and ‘hold space’ as a mindful collective, we can birth a whole new way of being.

This is how we are physically designed, our bodies ‘hold space’ for spirit to come into form. What do we do as a collective of brilliant women want to bring into physical reality?

What activities could we do so that we master together how to get back our zest, thrive on change, lead with grace and confidence, and co-create the beautiful workplaces we all long for?

I believe living in our zest comes from bringing our passion and joys forward. Our creative juices flow when we are living from our gifts. Taking time for yourself to acknowledge and acquaint yourself with your gifts is an important step before sharing your zest.

The gift that comes from all of your experiences, wisdom earned, joys, and love is sure to bring you the most pleasure in sharing, and the most inspiration for everyone else.

How do you see your role in building this community? And is there anything else you want to add that you think would be helpful for us to know as we are building this community?

I am incredibly inspired by this brilliant community of women and feel honored to be in a global network.

I love to take deep dives and transform our uncomfortable places into our gems of wisdom.

This would feel so nurturing, in person, during retreats someday. For now, Zoom discussions will be excellent for processing the rough terrain facing women today.
